There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.

                                                                                         C. S. Lewis

This is a beautiful quote from The Collected Letters of C.S. Lewis, Volume 3.  I went to see a man play C.S. Lewis and it was a wonderful performance. I didn't understand some of the humor and couldn't hear some of the words, but I know this man has studied and memorized the whole of C.S. Lewis life.

C.S. Lewis is a brave adventurer into the unknown world of Faith. It took him years of study, questions, and deep soul searching to find God. Then when he found God, he didn't want to follow Him as a servant... This eventually changes and praise God it did.

I respect C.S. Lewis for his faith and journey to his faith from being an Athiest. Our journey starts with questions and ends with Jesus - The Way, The Truth and the Life. John 14:6

"Don't ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people that have come alive."  Howard Thurman

What can you do with faith to change things, to go outside your four walls? I guess for me it's traveling, being a photographer, pottery. These things make me come alive!

As a stay at home mom, you spend an enormous amount of time inside. When we lived in Tucson, AZ I lived inside because I was allergic to the heat, so 7 months of the year I suffered from the heat and rarely would venture outside. I would not be able to play outside with the children, I was in a prison of my home.

I realize the prison was pleasant to a degree, with no A/C I was still suffering and it really affected my health. The last 20 years have been in part gaining my health back. I did make it back!

When others say my faith is 'fanatical', I just am happy faith has been my reason to live. I didn't do drugs or have any other vices. I just poured my heart of hurt out to God.

This adventure I am on is my expression of faith in action.

I am being led, will be led and look forward to divine appointments from God above.

I hope to read a few books and this will be one. I have a few C. S. Lewis books and this will be one more to enjoy. Again and again, I am led to read a book and it is surprising how similar we all are. Our stories are similar, our lives are similar, we are not so much different you know.
